Pro-Bono Opportunity: Jurors Needed for APAAC Mock Trial
APAAC's need for volunteer jurors in a mock jury trial scheduled for September 18, 2026.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to serve as a juror? The Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council (“APAAC”) will present a weeklong training for new prosecutors on conducting a jury trial, and volunteer jurors are needed for the final session. On Friday, September 18, 2026, the last day of the course, the prosecutors will practice the skills they have learned by participating in a mock jury trial. A total of 24 volunteer jurors are needed. The jurors will report to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, located at 2005 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004, at 8:00 a.m., and must be available to stay until 3:30 p.m. The mock trial will begin with jury selection. Just like a real trial, only a portion of the jurors will be chosen to sit on the jury. Those who are not chosen may stay and observe the trial.
