2027 Ocotillo Scholars Program Information Session
Join us to hear from program facilitators and alumni as they share insights, tips, and experiences about the Ocotillo Scholars Program. This session will give you the inside scoop on the process! Come with your questions.
The Ocotillo Scholars Program (Program) is a collaboration between individual attorneys, the Maricopa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and various law firms and legal employers based in Arizona. The program is open to all 2L and 3L students, in good standing, who have completed the 1L curriculum. Through this program, students strengthen legal research and writing skills, gain exposure to private firm and corporate legal environments, and develop meaningful relationships with attorneys and mentors in the legal community.
? The Program will run for 12 weeks beginning January 2027
? Mentor attorneys assign, review, and provide feedback on projects.
? Scholarship Details: Employers designate a $6,000 scholarship
? Events and Workshops: Students will be required to attend certain events and workshops, in Phoenix, during the course of the Program. The schedule will be distributed to students in advance of their internship, but note that these sessions will likely be held twice a month in the evenings (between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm). They are mandatory for all students.
