Join us for a special conversation with Honorable Lisa A. VandenBerg, Arizona’s Presiding Disciplinary Judge, on Thursday, March 19 from 12:15–1:15 p.m. in Room 240. Judge VandenBerg presides over formal attorney discipline, disability, and reinstatement proceedings for the Arizona Supreme Court, playing a critical role in upholding the integrity and ethical standards of the legal profession.

With more than 20 years of service on the Arizona Superior Court in Maricopa County, Judge VandenBerg brings extensive judicial experience across criminal, juvenile, family, probate, and appellate matters. She has also led innovative therapeutic courts, including the Co-Occurring Rehabilitation Court, supporting probationers with serious mental illness as they navigate the justice system.

This is a valuable opportunity for law students to gain insight into professional responsibility, judicial ethics, and the disciplinary process directly from one of Arizona’s leading judicial authorities.

Lunch will be provided.
