This long-standing tradition brings together students, faculty, attorneys, and community members for an afternoon of great food, meaningful connections, and support for the next generation of legal professionals.
CLLSA is committed to fostering diversity in the legal profession and supporting Latinx law students in their academic and professional journeys. Through our scholarships, mentorship initiatives, and educational events, we empower our members to become future leaders in the law and in our community. Proceeds form the Fajita Cook-Off directly fund scholarships for books and bar exam preparation, networking events, and professional development initiatives designed to equip our members with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in law school.
The Fajita Cook-Off has been recognized as the “Most Outstanding Student Organization Event” and continues to draw community attention to our organization. This year, with your help, we aim to expand our impact by providing a bar exam scholarship to every graduating CLLSA member in need of financial assistance and increasing the amount of book scholarships we award, ensuring more students receive critical support.
