The field is down to the final four, and the debaters now face a bench: Judges Perkins, Catlett, and Gaona of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Come watch your classmates face off over the following topics:
Debate 1: Congress should abolish birthright citizenship.
Debate 2: Congress should abolish the federal death penalty.
Participants were assigned a topic and a side a week in advance, so they may be arguing a perspective they do not agree with. They are competing for a $100 cash prize and those who make it to the finals will have lunch with members of the Arizona Supreme Court!
